12 Step Plan To (begin to) Save America
1)Enforce single lifetime term (two year) limits: weed out career politicians and the motivation to make decisions just to maintain power.
2)Provide extremely high salaries (>=~1M each): this would lure in legitimate business minds (who currently wouldn’t come near being an elected official because they’d have to take such a pay cut) There’s no way the current bunch of phonies could compete with people that are actually successful businessmen who are adept at time management, fiscal efficiency and effective problem solvers. The high salaries would easily be covered by the reduction in pork. Salaries should also fluctuate conversely with the amount of money authorized from the treasury.
3)Introduce the FairTax to rid our economy of the incredible burden that is the IRS and related bloat.
4)Enforce a loser pays legal system to exterminate frivolous lawsuits.
5)Extend swift, mandatory capital punishment for DNA supported sexual assault, rape and molestation offenses.
6)Extend the right to concealed handgun carry to all places other than government buildings for individuals not under the influence of any amount of any drug or alcohol.
7)Stop the ridiculous waste of money and meddling in individual freedoms that is the *War On Drugs.
8)Dismantle the obnoxious intrusion into private businesses and infliction of free-speech that is the FCC (please just protect frequency encroachment, that’s all we need from you - we can decide what words we can and cant’ hear).
9)Immediately halt the speciously altruistic “War On Terror” that is sacrificing American lives daily for a morally bankrupt, feel-good, pussyfoot war. If we’re going to break the will of Islam kooks, stop dropping pop-tarts and start annihilating. Don’t send individuals into a fight and tell them to use one hand by enacting policies that entail the sacrifice of American troops for the sake of the enemy’s feelings. The current self-sacrificial rules of engagement wrangle our soldiers to refrain from firing in certain situations even to the point where self defense could be incriminating - all in the vein of not offending someones religious sensibilities.
10)Eliminate all “Save you from yourself” laws: mandatory seat-belt and helmet laws, laws prohibiting co-habitation and sexual intimacy between consenting adults etc.
11)Provide adequate school-choice vouchers as an initial step towards full privatization of education at every level.
12)Remove the ridiculously tedious environmental laws governing petroleum blends across the country and start drilling for oil in all available regions.
Do these things and our country will be back on course to become the nation our founders envisioned…. before it’s too late. There’s plenty more that needs to change, but these are the first steps.
